St Johns Road – New Construction

The construction of this building was mainly loadbearing brick and block with timber floors. The foundations were formed on a steel sheet pile and internal long span steel beams were used to transfer the upper loads directly and evenly over the piles.  Steel trimmers were introduced to allow for different orientation of the floor.
